I was in a pub downtown with my friend Aryan tonight and we played 8ball Billard. We played a couple of times, then two rather strange men came an offered to play against the winner. We agreed and played on with them about 4 times. We won the 3 times and lost once. As i said, they were kind of strange; they had a lot of tatooes, one of them had a T-shirts that proudly announced “FUCK THE POLICE”, they smelled alcohol, and had a face that said “I just came from an A.A. meeting“. But they were nice, and we had a rather good time playing with them. One of them asked us what we were studying, I replied “sosialantroplogy”, he asked with a strange expression on his face what it was, and I came with a very ironical answer telling it was all about traveling and discovering new funky cultures and he said it sounded great, Aryan told him he studied psychology and he told us he was a student as well: he studied Women’s Anatomy and the consequences of alcohol on a single man.. Later on, we heard a man in the backgroud talking loudly about his job or something like that: “Who has all his job done by friday”. Then one of the A.A guys, the one with the cool T-shirt said something about Robinson Crusoe, I told him I did not understand what he was talking about, and Arian didn’t either. We played on, trying to hide we didn’t care about not understand until time was up for us. We politely thanked them and said goodbye. In the car on the way back home, Arian goes: “What the fudge did the man say about Robinson Crusoe?” and I replied “Yeah that was kinda strange I really didn’t understand it” and I thought the man had probably drunk a little bit to much… And then suddently I remembered “…Friday is the name of the Robinson’s friend in the book!!” We laughed so much we had to go back there and shake the man’s hand for being such a joke-genius! But he wasn’t there, so we promised ourselves to do it if we’d ever meet him again, and we kept on laughing out loud for 10 minutes..
